a multidisciplinary space manager
lasphère - http://www.lasphere.space
lasphère is a modulable loft at the Southern gates of Paris with an ambitious project to become a multidisciplinary experimental space, anchored in the local but at the crossroads of European and international cultural practice. Currently hosting its partners: Worlding, a change consultancy, Elapse, a performing arts company, and EARS (Expanded Acting Research Sphere), a fledgling research institute, this space, situated a stone’s throw away from what will be a major metro hub in Le Grand Paris, is perfectly placed to fulfil its potential as a catalyst for developmental initiatives between art, business and the human sciences.
There are two key areas of work associated with this venture: revenue generating activity and developing the identity of the space and its offer.
We are a small team looking for someone dynamic to join us and be at the forefront of this new initiative to create a hub of exchange and innovation. We are especially looking for someone to complement our profile. Driven by business development and with proven capabilities in marketing and networking, the right person will be autonomous and confident with these administrative roles as well with public relations and creative ideation. This is ideally a position for new graduates with demonstrable experience or someone looking to move into a second job allowing them more creative input. The ideal candidate will be someone motivated by a challenge and by putting ideas into practice, interested in a co-operative approach to work, able to work on a freelance basis and ready to create something from the ground up.
Our working values of communication, initiative and autonomy orient us away from conventional office politics and hierarchies. We’re passionate about making things happen, exploring the new and the unfamiliar, and working with more relational & reflective intelligence.
